I've ate at that location for over 40 yrs, through several owners. Food was ok but the new owners changed the coffee which I can't drink, I like regular Farmers coffee not that strong kind

Great place to eat have been eating there for 25+ years when it started as Bert & Ernie's.. its definitely a Tahoe favorite..
It's thee only place for breakfast for me..when in S.Lake Tahoe.

I was staying in Tahoe this past weekend with a group of people. I was tired and very hungry and this was my first time at Ernie's. And I'm extremely impressed! I had the French toast and bacon. The French toast was cooked to perfection and the bacon was crispy. I ate my entire plate and it was delicious. And the service was on point. They were friendly and courteous. If I get the chance to come up again, I'll make sure to eat here. I really liked this place!
