My favorite place to eat in all the world. My dad took me to Ernie's, and then I took my kids and this week I will take my grandson. Best food ever. Chocolate malts. Huevos rancheros, and breakfast burritos Texas style.

Sorry I wasn't impressed even though a friend recommended it very highly I had biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were really rolls not biscuits and the waitress is not very friendly at all
Ernie's has good old-fashioned cooking and the locals love it and we loved it too even though we were visitors from out of town.
Stopped in for lunch today and found a new place to frequent when we come to Lake Tahoe. I had the Shoestring Fries with the Beef & Cheese Sandwich. I said the Fries first since they did not skimp on them at all. The Roast Beef was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to taste their breakfast.
