Dr. Sanborn and the rest of the staff in the office have been great to work with. I am super happy with my surgery and weight loss progress...and that's why I am giving them a GENEROUS 3 stars. Insurance would not cover my surgery, so I did the hard thing and decided it was worth it to do a cash pay. I was given an exact amount I would be expected to pay that would cover EVERYTHING. I called to make an appointment, and was told that they do not take my insurance, I felt devastated,and couldn't believe that my Anthem insurance was not in network,so I had my white co worker call,not even 10 minutes later, and guess what,they accept her insurance, which is the same exact insurance that I have,so I'm feeling some type of way, I did make an appointment, but I'm skeptical and feel unsure about it.Being a black woman, a black overweight woman is hard in this country and it seems that the people at Erlanger jus... read more
