Understaffed yes but majority of the staff was fantastic they try to give every the time needed but its hard at times but overall good stay
Do not take your child here. They are secretive about your child's care once there and won't allow you to discharge them if you aren't happy about it. They don't allow prescribed medications that the child has been on for years. They change everything up even if the medications are for ongoing health issues. We worked for years with specialists to hone a medication regemin, only for EBH to throw it all out the window. This caused withdrawal symptoms. I completed my inpatient psychiatry rotation at this facility and had a highly valuable educational experience. The unit serves a diverse patient population with acute psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, psychosis, suicidality, and substance use disorders, which provided excellent clinical exposure.
