Went in for IV antibiotics and a steroid injection after an accidental cat bite from one of my rescue kitties. My hand was red/blue and swollen to twice its normal size. I was an ER travel nurse most of my career and this was the WORST experience I've ever seen in an ER. 1. BP on arrival was 200/103. Didn't ask about chest pain. No telemetry, no EKG.
