The course was also designed to be able to accommodate the U.S. Open, in terms of both the challenge to the players and the logistics for handling more than 60,000 spectators and the related support structure. This mix of traditional and modern elements as well as a championship test over a unique piece of property will leave many golfers marveling at how they have never played anywhere like Erin Hills.

Absolutely beautiful course!! Went for the first time for the US Open, now I want to return to play.
Great course but again total failure on the availability of water. These events just don't seem capable of learning. These events need numerous separate water stands. But the people running these events are incapable of mastering this simple concept. I know people that left early because of insufficient concessions. Course should also have better signage.
Espectacular campo de Golf, en un lugar de ensueño. El campo está preparado para el Open Golf Championship 2017 en una forma extraordinaria.
First time at a PGA tournament.... memorable. What a Father's Day present.... thank you Katie and Mike!!!
I'm not even a golfer but it's something you just have to see and experience living so close! It was definitely hot yesterday but had Trophy tent tickets so was able to go in cool off and even get old fashions! They had to train a MN group to make them for WI! The volunteers were very pleasant and everyone was great to be around. Only today and tomorrow left so hope others can get out to enjoy it!
USGA clearly did not have the fans in mind when they designed this course for U.S. Open play. No shade, long walk from parking, hard to navigate and to see players. On a positive note the people in the community are extremely friendly. But that doesn't make up for the fact that Pro Golf failed in their attempt to provide fan experiences above and beyond. I attend the Waste Management Open which has 600,000 people! Much more organized and a much better experience.
Parking is the worst I have ever seen. Taking a school bus ride from Washington cty fair grounds without A/C IS RIDICULOUS. When you eat at the food court their is NO place to sit. Poor planning by Erin Hills. Water refills are hard to find. Should have NEVER planned an event like this at ERIN HILLS......
What a beautiful and amazing course. The event is handled very well and organized!
Beautiful rolling hills, nasty waste bunkers and wonderful views. Very glad that USGA is holding the US OPEN here.
