The course was also designed to be able to accommodate the U.S. Open, in terms of both the challenge to the players and the logistics for handling more than 60,000 spectators and the related support structure. This mix of traditional and modern elements as well as a championship test over a unique piece of property will leave many golfers marveling at how they have never played anywhere like Erin Hills.

Day 4 is real windy. I don't expect low scores...
Not a real spectator friendly venue. Beautiful course. Far too spread out for viewing the whole course. More than likely won't be back.
We enjoyed our experience at Erin Hills. Beautiful course, great helpers. Overall great experience.
Beautiful golf course. Every service person all day was helpful and courteous. Trophy club was great, although there could have been more seating available. Part of that is due to Wisconsin culture as it seemed at some points during Saturday afternoon seemed like it was the world's largest cocktail party and a golf tournament broke out! Course concession stands were well staffed and well stocked. The parking plan was complex, but ran like a clock all day long. Oh, did I mention parking was free? All in all a great day of gol... read more
We had a great experience at Erin Hill's Golf Course. Everything was very well orchestrated. The park and shuttle service went very smoothly. The check out in the huge merchandise area was very quick and efficient. The only complaint I have is that they needed move areas for water. You had to walk very long distances to get water. The food areas were very busy with very long lines. If they could have had more areas of the concessions, it wouldn't have been so long of lines. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Great course people were super kind. Enjoyed every minute.
I thought the course was spectacular!!! My first time attending an event like this was something I will never forget. Yes it was hot, yes the lines were long, and yes, there was no shade because it is a LINKS STYLE COURSE PEOPLE!!!! Tall grass, no trees, just like St. Andrews in Scotland. DUH!!! My advice, READ THE FINE PRINT AND BE PREPARED. Loved every minute, would do it again in a heart beat!!
It sure was hot, but we had a plan and strategy as a spectator. Unlike many comments, we found water stations (hint they were by all the first aid stations marked on the map they hand you when you walk in) and filled up often. Concessions were crowded but that's to be expected at any sporting event. $3 for water isn't bad but there were alternatives. As for shade, you make your own with an umbrella, hat, etc... As someone who has attended and marshaled many golf events, I think it went well. The parking situation was a littl... read more
Was there for the 3rd round. I'm never gonna get the sound of that crop duster out of head. Now watching it on TV and its worse. Who ok'd this? How can the golfers stand it?
