The staff, nurses, doctors, PA's have all been great so far with mine and my wife's care. There's been occasional hiccups with getting appointments scheduled through care in the community, but they have been helpful and prompt with resolving any issues. Overall, the Erie VA has been a pleasure to deal with and the staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful with answering questions or resolving any issues. They treat you like they care, not as just another number.
Been going there 30 yrs. Now I'm told we can't keep seeing you anymore. Was blown up in Desert Storm and have medical issues . I was instructed by my doctors many times they can't see me anymore . I tried to get Medicare part B but they will penalize me for years for that. Very frustrated disappointed veteran. God Bless All vets and pray this don't happen to you. Thanks
I have been a patient here for quite a while now, and I am always amazed at the efficiency and ease on every visit. Absolutely most courteous employees any where. If I didn't have the VA, I just wouldn't have healthcare. I know what a zoo it is out there in the community healthcare organizations.
I've gone to several different VA's in Pennsylvania. The Erie VA is by far the best I've been too and in some cases surpass the local care givers. Their behavior health workers do outstanding work and truly care about the veterans they serve as well.
