******, ****, ******, and ******* are a few that I spole To at the call center. They all said its not their job to make sure the places have card available, their job is just to rent them. So I am 20 hours into a drive looking for the car I reserved. Heading to a medical appt. Im having ti look up locations and make calls while driving. They are in breach of contract. This was the 2nd rental company in 2 days that were just plain horrible. I called a location near me and went to reservations. The girl that answered spoke poor english. I asked her if she was the location I called and she said no I'm their call center. I booked a car through her and when I was on my way the location called and said they don't have any cars. rented a car from you in ***** which broke down and stranded us for the night no customer emergency service. the next day we had to travel by taxi at my expense to the airport 2 hours away to get another car which then had issues. no reimbursement for the hotel , taxi or tour we missed due to the car's water pump braking. Reserved a car through AAA for 8am pickup, but when I got there was told they were out of cars. The site I was using has 10 available cars listed, but the employees don't seem to know that? Not a single helpful person at either location I went to. Everyone looks like a scared animal and have no answers. I'm out 2 days if work because of this unreliable service. How is this acceptable?

Rented a car that tags were expired, 2 places on tire where rubber is missing, need oil service, no windshield fluid., wasnt detailed, smelt like smoke. Have been waiting 3 days for replacement. Paid $1400 and havent been able to even use the car for 3 days after getting pulled over. Enterprise is a joke.

Was given a contract for a three day rental at ******** office, told to return it to that location by 4:27pm at the rental location on Sunday. We did. The office was closed at that hour. We were charged and extra $100 for the car as the office didn't check it in until the next morning. If we were going to be charged, I would have liked to have had the use of the car, but was not given that as an option. **************** actually just told me that's the way it is. Rented a car from Enterprise in ********* after a negligent driver totaled my wife's car. It died coming up to the hill to our house, roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes away. On my first call for roadside assistance, they handed me off to the closed ********* rental office. I tried again the next day, only to be told by agent ID #****** (Kewayne) that I would have to drive myself an hour to another Enterprise in ********* roughly one hour away, to get another car. The people that work there are decent but the business itself has SHADY practices. Beware of the protections being offered to you at checkout of a vehicle. They offer it to you with the knowledge that your insurance company already has those protections on your rental vehicle. And your insurance company will probably let them offer it to you anyway due to the greediness of both entities.

STAY AWAY!!!Booked 2 cars in February for a group rafting trip in *****. Flew into *****, **** to Fairview Street Enterprise and told no cars as were 2 hours past a noon pick up listed on the reservation. Have an hour window we were told. Reservation does indicate a pick up +/- time frame pick up. Really??? Mgr was rude demeaning and could not care. Spoke with this mgr the day before about our reservation and no mention of a pick up window. We would have easily paid then, no problem.Bottom line they did not have our cars and... read more
