I’ve seen this doctor a few weeks ago. As a general practitioner trained in one of the best Medical School of Canada, I was expecting to find expertise and bedside manners. Unfortunately, I’ve found none. Just an example, I knew about the Elli Lilly’s GLP1 pill waiting for FDA approval and wanted some answers regarding transition from Zepbound injections to the pill, some secondary side effects beneficial for my particular situation etc. Dr Martin looked down at me, saying there is not such a medication …and affirmed he is v... read more
Doesn’t listen to his patients and seems to have a scripted talk for each patient and not care they are actual people. Doesn’t provide much help at all or flexibility in discussion of treatment options. It’s basically his way or the highway.
Dr Martin is a good surgeon, however he spends about 5 minutes with you on follow up appointments. I also have a problem with him not renewing prescriptions and have not been able to get refills. I am now completely out of one and he won't approve it saying I haven't visited him in several months. I have had no reason to see him as I have felt fine. I will be looking for a new Dr and also will have no medications until I find one.
