I was in there twice in a month about 5 years ago. They told me I had food poisoning. Turns out I had a perforated colon. Almost died of sepsis.
We have lived here since 2002. Very rarely that we have ever had to utilize ECH, but over these last several months, my husband, daughter, grandson and I have all had instances that have placed us either in the ER, outpatient surgery and Heart Cath Unit. I can honestly save I have been absolutely thrilled with all of it. The compassion from every ER, Out Patient and Floor Nurse, every doctor and surgeon that we have worked with as well as all of the volunteers. All the staff are terrific. They took excellent care of my husband and checked on me! He had a visit with Cappy, a therapy dog who visits the patients. This hospital may be small, but it is mighty!!!
I love the radiology department. Especially the director
