My insurance company paid our daughters hospital bill according to the agreement they have with ECH, now ECH is balance billing us which is not only against Florida statutes but is also unethical! I have reported them to the State of Florida!
I went in thinking kidney stones. Ended up having diverticulitis. Wonderful setting. The employees are very professional. Especially Dr. Frank Novy
Trying to setup a payment plan and they wont accept a minimum payment that isn't what they want it to be without sending it to collections. Can't contact an actual person at the hospital either, it just goes to some junk company with rude people at NPAS. I was charged 9k for the flu, basically 2 saline bags, 1 single chest x-ray and a cotton swab. Pathetic. This is the last place anyone should ever go, between the ridiculous charges and terrible billing department I'd rather die than have to deal with this hospital. You real... read more

Was in ER today and I must say all of the nurses and PA were awesome! Thank you Mary and all the staff! Happy Nurses week!
Thanks to all the staff at Englewood Community Hospital for the fine care they gave to my wife, Natalie while she was there these last 2 days. Everyone was very friendly and ready to help in any way they could. I just can't say enough good things about this hospital.
Care was substandard except for PA who stitched me. Many complaints but suffice to say I went to sArAsota memorial for follow up. It was much more professional, cleaner, and efficient
My mom is there now in isolation with no a/c in her room no one wants to come in to the room it is dirty and they leave the food trays until her next time to eat and have infections material still in room even ask them to clean the common bathroom as it had toilet paper on the floor and trash over flowing took my nurse from 3:30 til 6:15 to redo her IV antibiotics that are supposed to be continuous there are other issues but I have said enough
