Suprisingly Good Local Fav – As a local to this neighborhood favorite, I was suprised by the level of goodness En Sushi offered, as well as its posh dining experience. The mood was very pleasing as well as the Soft Shell Crab Roll!! The only thing you might miss are the silly jokes and conversation you might partake in while sitting at the bar of a "mom & pop" shop watching the chef prepare your dinner.

Fresh sushi w/ excellent service and ambiance – I LOVE this sushi restaurant. This is my favorite "upper" scale sushi spot. The service is above average, the food is excellent and the ambiance is gorgeous. Great date spot, happy hour or just friends getting together. Try their apps-any of them. They are all great, and their saki sampler is terrific!

Good option in West LA – Bottom line..the drinks are strong, the sake list is long and the sushi is good. Yes, it's pricey just to be "good", but you gets lots of sushi (rolls and sashimi). As someone here said, their "spicey" rolls really aren't spicey at all. I'd say this is a perfect place for a happy hour get together.

horrible Mojito – We ordered a Mojito, it was a horrible mistake; it's a Japanese restaurant. The sushi didn't taste fresh, pretty much tasteless for spicy tuna (not spicy at all). The Udon noddle were ok. Come for ambience, leave taste buds at home with the kids. Bon Appetite.

horrible service, but good sushi – I went there with friends. The service was very slow. We ordered a ton of sushi. The sushi was excellent. One friend ordered a noodle bowl because she did not eat sushi. The noodle bowl was AWFUL. When we asked if she could something else, they told us no. So we asked to talk to the manager, he was extremely rude and informed us that they served nothing but good food. Best lunch sushi dining – Great ambience and friendly servers! Yukari always has a smile on her face when she serves us. My co-workers and I are here for lunch at least once every week. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable. Get there early because even when they get busy, they only have one or two servers. Best LUNCHtime sushi dining in West LA and Santa Monica area!

Good, but not great – Very little to complain about this sushi place. Food was good and sushi was fresh, although a little expensive, but not ridiculously. Ambiance is cool. Service is adequate. Sake selection is pretty good. I'd come here again, but only if someone else was paying.

fresh fish, Romantic place – I went EN sushi yesterday with my boy friend. It was first time there. We ordered a lot of sushi include Tuna, salmon and yellowtail. Those sushi were so fresh and sushi rice was good too. The restaurant was a little bit dark compare other sushi bar but enough to see menu and food. If someone want to feel differently about japanese restaurant, I recommend En sushi!

go for the ambiance and the dessert – Decor was excellent and fun, a happy "in" crowd, and excellent service. Alas, I found the sushi (especially the sashimi) to be just okay. However: the sakes were quite good, and the desserts (chocolate sauce cake!) are enough to make a special trip to enjoy. (Note: I went in the later part of Valentines Day -- perhaps they were a bit tapped out at that point, your milage will vary.)
