Good Date Place to have Sushi – This restaurant serves fairly good sushi. The sushi isn't modestly priced but it also isn't ridiculously expensive. The decor provides a romantic setting for people on dates. It can get packed sometimes so I'd recommend making reservations.
Great Place for Sushi and Friends – Not overly priced. Great sushi. Terrific service. Nice Bar. Comfortable. Not a whole lot to argue about here - this is a must check out.
Pretty good sushi – En Sushi is definitely one of those trendy LA sushi places where the prices are steeper than the local sushi restaurant because of the atomsphere. That said, the sushi is actually good. I had some hamachi sashimi ($6) and a spicy hamachi roll ($6) which I liked (but nothing like Hokusai!) Best Sushi in town – Good Sushi. I like this place. I enjoyed their Uni (Sea urchin), Ama Ebi (raw shrimp), Torro (fatty tuna), giant clams...etc. Everything I tasted has been good. The decor is really trendy and neat. Lunch time is also a treat here because their lunch menu is very fulfilling and delicious. Overall price is not too bad. If you enjoy high quality sushi and an great atmosphere, I think the price is suitable.
I have nothing else more to say than the stupid waitress that took my order. I asked for halibut and she come back 20 minutes later "we don't have halibut anymore", but i overheard the sushi chef saying "that's the last order" meaning, MY ORDER. she said they were out of the halibut so i ended up ordering something else. then after i get that new order, she comes back saying "i'm sorry we actually have halibut" i know i sound mean and there are miscommunications and people do make mistakes.. Great Food, Great People!! – I went to EN Sushi with my friends last weekend. Even if they were busy, our server was very nice and gave us a great service!! Food was also AWSOME!! We ordered lots of sushi and some rolls. Sushi were very fresh and rolls were also very tasty!! Good food and good people and good atmosphere. I love this place and I recommend to everybody!!
Seriously, why bother? – My friend and I went to En fairly early on a week night. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited. After 45 minutes we asked about our food and was told it was almost done (mind you, this was all sushi - nothing cooked). Flash forward: after 1 1/2 hours and three talks with the manager we still never saw our food. Meanwhile, tables around us had come, ate, got their checks and left. Not REAL SUSHI! Terrible Service. – En Sushi is the kind of place where people who THINK they like sushi go.This is NOT a sushi restaurant. It's simply a place for posers who like to PRETEND to be sushi eaters. If you want to order rolls with cute names, stuffed with American fillers, than this is the place for you. Go try this place soon! – Best sushi in the area...and coming from living in Japan for 10+ years, I know what I am talking about! The service was great, and the food was excellent. Fresh fish, and the various appetizer choices were very tasty. I especially recommend the seafood dynamite and the albacore salad. Can't wait to return to try the other menu choices...their sake selection is extensive too, which definitely adds to the whole meal experience.
