I ordered windows, $5,000 worth and it was in l994 BUT there is a lifetime warranty that is charging me $300 to LOOK at the defective window. I did not deal with a warranty co. when I purchased the windows, I dealt with Empire Window. In contacting them they said they only sold windows and had nothing to do with the warranty. Great, now I am stuck with a window that does not function (wont go up) and the seller wont do anything. BEWARE

You purchased these windows in 1994, and It sounds as though they have served you well for 25 years, with exception of the one window. Unfortunately the manufacture of your windows was recently purchased by an out-of-state buyer which leads us to this current situation. Empire windows So I can not review there windows, but Due to a miscommunication, either on my end or there's. The owner personally called me about my issues, and if I did not have a contract already I would definitely purchase there windows, I was really surprised by his personal call to one possible customer. Now that is true customer service. They will be included in any additional home projects that arise. Pete

We got entire house windows installed in the fall of 2016. The day of the installation, the team that came to the house immediately notified us that they believed they were missing one of the windows. They said they had taken a quick walk around the house and, unless they miscounted, the number of windows didn't match. After matching the invoice to the numbers of windows to the actual windows in the house they were replacing, they realized that yes one window was missing in the truck.
