As a transplant patient I chose to go to Emory ER because they ARE a transplant center. What a nightmare! I sat in the ER from 2:58pm until 12:30am in the general sick area. I told them once an hour that I cannot be in the same area as people with Covid, flu, throwing up or airborne pathogens. I guess they took that as a reason to take every single person before me. Myself and a kidney transplant. Patient sat in the area where this Transplant hospital knew I was supposed to not be at. Nine hours sitting in a room where one ... read more

I wanted to start by thanking my surgeon Dr. Peter William Thompson, MD Plastic Surgery was scary until I met this doctor and his amazing team at Emory Plastic Surgery. The Coordinator Queen, nurses Laura and Allison were kind, helpful in many ways such as helping to fight my insurance company for a Panniculectomy, which was so necessary to improve the quality of my life. It took three tries before they approved me, and I never once felt alone during this fight. Dr. Thompson took the time to hear my concerns about my weig... read more

I cannot really say much for the entire hospital or all the doctors and nurses there. I don't know how anyone actually gets into the hospital through the emergency department. My 80-year-old mother who fell and more than likely broke her hip sat in there waiting room for 6 hours with no pain meds. I've never experienced something that terrible. Thanks might be better in certain areas once you get in but I don't know how anybody gets in through the ED. That situation really sucked. We ended up leaving and going to Emory St J... read more

I see alot of Bad reviews about Emory University Hospital but I personally have no complaints. My surgeon Dr.Namita Khanna was Awesome. Her Staff Took Great Care Of Me During My Weeks Long Stay At Emory. From The Different Nurses To Dr.Khanna's Team Down To The Anesthesiology Team They Were All Great. I Was Ready To Go Home But Dr.Khanna Kept Me Because Some Of my Numbers Weren't Trending Down Like They Should Have. I Appreciate Them Taken 🙏 Extra Precaution And Extra Care Of Me. It Feels So Good To Be At Home. But While I ... read more

I would not recommend working at this hospital or being a patient there. I worked there for four months as a travel nurse. It is a toxic environment and extremely short staffed. As a worker you are putting your license in jeopardy and as a patient you are putting your life in jeopardy. No ICU nurse should ever have 3 patients !!!!!! The night Mgrs Sharon and Cheryl are rude and condescending. I had them yelling at me because I transferred a pt to hospice and transferred their chart 10 minutes early to help t... read more

Total Mayhem! I complained about illegal medical activities of a Chief Surgery Resident (3rd year) who botched my surgery. I was released from the Emory Healthcare during my cancer treatment because they don't want the public to know what is really going on! Their attorney deleted and falsified my medical records before handing them to me after two months. I am very disappointed about their management and how they treat people. I don't understand how they get such a good grade as a medical facility! Stay away!!

There can not be a worst hospital in all of America than Emory Hospital. There is no level of concern for the patients. What matters most to Emory is to continue to gobble up all the hospitals in the State of Georgia. All about money and to hell with care and attention to the patients. If you are looking for a hospital where you don't care about attention to your medical conditions large or small, check your self into Emory. Have had to wait flat on my back all day waiting to be transferred out of here. I am not a yeller o... read more
