I found my experience at Elmhurst wonderful. Not only is the physical facility on the hospital like the care I received is unparalleled to any other hospital including and way above northwestern. The personal care the true compassion of the care givers in all departments was outstandingI had open heart surgery which is a rough go I don’t know how other hospitals work but these people were angels on earth.
I brought my mom into the ER recently and the Doctor and Nurses were not only informative but so kind and full of compassion for this 95 year old. Since this was only the 2nd time to the hospital and last time she didn't stay over it was very frightening to her. She then was admitted and stayed two nights and three days. However these Doctors and Nurses were extremely helpful, full of compassion, friendly and full of information for when we got home. I had both knees replaced at Elmhurst Hospital this year and I had wonderful care. Would always recommend this hospital for any kind of care or surgery.
I was misdiagnosed at elmhurst hospital during my pregnancy and while giving birth. I had such a horrible time that I couldn’t even get my words together to write a review. Every time I think about my experience, I lose it, I get so upset. I had been going to my midwives for regular checkups and I kept having puffy swollen feet, I mentioned it every single visit. Fire everyone in the billing department
On Sunday November 18th, I entered the Emergency room with a severe spinal headache as a result from a spinal tap I had a few days prior. I didn’t get any farther than the front desk. When asked why I was there, I explained that I first called my neurologist office and was told to go to the nearest emergency room for an epidural blood patch.
