Dr. Brian Caldwell from urology was amazing. We were unsure what to expect walking in to the appointment with our 2 month old. He took the time with us to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions, and even drew out what he was explaining so we could better understand. He walked us through what our treatment plan for our son will be and what it will look like going forward. I can't say enough great things about our experience. I would highly recommend him!
Had a rough couple days after my 2 y/o daughter had a seizure and had to be flown here. That being said, the staff here was beyond amazing in their care for my child (and her parents... I'm sure we were more difficult though!) After the dust settled when we arrived in the PICU we were absolutely blessed to work with Meredith over night! We are so blessed to have the amazing team of Doctors on the blue team and the 6th floor nursing team (especially Jessica) to support us through this experience. Everyone was so kind to our son- he loved the playrooms and joking around with the nurses. The doctors were always available to answer questions and helped us figure out how to treat our son. While I hope we never have to come back, I am so thankful for our experience at Children's.
I am so grateful to the staff for how well my son was cared for. They made sure he was always comfortable and took time to explain everything in great detail to myself and my husband. I couldn't have picked a better place for him
Childrens hospital was great for my 17 year old son Gabe Duran who was diagnosed with TENS. The staff gave him the attention he needed to overcome this scary disease. I would like to give special thanks to the Burn Unit team the staff in PICU and the Doctors and Nurses on the Blue team on 8th floor. Thank you all so much!
I have always brought my children hear if I think it is necessary and always got treated right. But to day with a big concern for my daughters. I felt like they payed no attention to anything I had said. Every time they came in they would talk fast and not even give me time to ask any questions with out the Staff already out the door. If I wanted to have the staff not pay attention or not even run test I should of stayed home. My son received excellent care in the CICU. It was a scary time for us but all hospital staff made us feel at ease.
My son turned 35 years old today. He was diagnosed with AML in 1998 and had a bone marrow transplant on April 1, 1999. His sister was his donor. On April 20, 1999, on his 18th birthday, his blood counts began to regenerate. Thank you Children's Hospital for the amazing care you provide him.
After visiting other leading children's hospitals we ended up at Children's Hospital of Colorado for the Spina Bifida Fetal Surgery. It was hands down a night and day difference in how we were cared for. Going through something like that was scary, but the entire staff there, especially the Maternal Fetal Care Center, were amazing and treated us like family and took incredible care of me and my unborn son.
