Normally I love this hospital, but today our visit was awful. The MRI tech was rude, told us to hurry because our appointment was at 8am,,in reality it was at 830am. As a result, my daughter's father missed the entire thing and my daughter was a nervous wreck. The tech didn't speak kindly to my daughter, didn't show her how the machine worked and quite frankly, was rude front beginning to end. A very disappointing appointment.
The facility, staff, and professionalism was second to none. I was thoroughly impressed
I am so grateful for everyone in the cardiac and pulmonary departments! My daughter was born very premature with some issues with heart and lungs. They have been nothing but understanding and very informative about the treatment shes getting! We are currently on our 3rd stay day 3 and we are well taken care of by all the staff! I appreciate everything they do to make sure we are comfortable!
I would not recommend the gastroenterology CHCO at the Lutheran Hospital, Wheatridge. We waited almost 6 months to be told that my son (9) is constipated because he gets too busy playing to take the time to poop. As we have been on a long journey of health with him since infancy, I know that there is something else going on. Disappointed. :-(
Saved my daughters life! We found out she has diabetes and it was the most terrifying experience. They provided us with education and peace of mind that even tho this is a life changing disease, she can still be healthy and do whatever she wants. Saying thank you just isn't enough but its all I have for them!
I'm sure Children's Hospital is a not so happy place but everyone from the janitorial staff to the surgical staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Everyone tried to make our experience stress free and non overly taxing on the brain and body for us. For that I'm extremely grateful. I was able to focus on the person that needed me the most my daughter. I want especially mention 3 wonderful women that stood out to me yesterday. Children's Hospital Colorado receive a five star rating from Max Millionz Entertainment Enterprises" In responding to the needs of a young man, who was shot, with a pellet gun mutable time walking home from school, as he did everyday. The young man is now going to be home schooled because of this incident. I wanted to bring this to all, because with your help we can come together as one strong power that can bring change to the system we have today, that we all know it is in great crises. My son was brought on by ambulance for a concussion, threw up in the ambulance, threw up after the Ct scan, nurse says we ordered Zofran to help him feel better, never received it, claiming he stops breathing while sleeping and needs oxygen, put a mask on him for transport to the room, never turned the oxygen on, when he was in his room they move the pulse ox monitor to his finger since it was so poorly placed on his toe and never had another issue and was never on oxygen again. Extremely angry about the service provided.
