RecommendedReally great service with super friendly people! After having a terrible experience at the Crystal Lake Volkswagen for service, I decided to try Elgin. Little did I know I had been being treated like absolute garbage at Crystal Lake for 3.5 years! This place WAS AMAZING! Worst Experience. Would not recommend to anyone. First, went to the dealership this morning and was welcomed well by the Rep. who showed me the car. Finalizing the price, the Manger (other person) showed ruthless behaviour setting a price with free oilchange which was higher than the price initially quoted. Cannot expect for good customer service if the staff doesn't know how to mantain the customer relationship. Not Recommended.

RecommendedJust left with my 2017 Passat & what a great experience it was! I buy/lease a LOT of cars (I have a problem...) and this was among the best experiences I've had - including many high-line dealerships. My Salesperson Allison took great care of me, and the Sales manager I was working with, Chris, gave me a very fair deal that I was happy with. Though this was my local VW dealer, I had been to a few others & would have gladly driven quite a bit to get this level of service. I would recommend Elgin VW to anyone!
