The thing that keeps my blood pressure from sky-rocketing in anticipation of a visit to the dentist is that the doctors and all staff members at Elgin Family Dental really care about their patients. I know that I will be treated with respect and that I will receive the best treatment possible.

This was my first visit to Elgin Family Dental and I will most certainly make this my primary dentist. The office is nice and welcoming, the staff is very friendly. Dr. Scott Herring is thorough, attentive and explains problems and options very well. I need a root canal that they were kind enough to set up for me with a specialist that takes my insurance. Also, all the patients' chairs face huge windows with a view of trees and bird feeders. It is a calming setting for those of us with anxiety about being in a dentist chair.
In my opinion there is not a more professional and caring group of dental health professionals in the area. Always courteous, kind, compassionate and understanding regardless of the task. I will not go anywhere else.
Dr. Scott Herring and his staff are always professional and pleasant. Dr. Scott has done a fantastic job with my teeth and he works very hard at being painless with his work. The office is so nice and you are able to look out over their garden with lots of birds while you wait in the chair and sometimes even while you are being worked on.
My hygienist was absolutely incredible! It was my daughter's first time getting her teeth cleaned, and she was so patient and kind, and my daughter had a blast! And she was great with me too - wonderful! :)
