I went to Dr Kandel to have my spider veins treated. I ended up with a large, dark scar on the back of my calf. When I went back to her, she told me to use silicone patches. I am now getting Lazer treatment to lighten the scar somewhere else. Dr. Kandel is rude and doesn't care about her patients

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Kandel. She was pleasant, took her time to address my concerns. Her staff was friendly and I only waited five minutes to be seen by the doctor.

Dr. Kandel is a dermatologist I've been going to for over 12 years and there are many reasons why - she is attentive, smart and she actually listens to my concerns. Nothing is forced, nothing is rushed, she is a good person. She ALWAYS does her best to provide a possible solution to the issue at hand. I've been to other dermatologists and they have messed up my skin; I then have to go to Dr. Kandel who makes sure she gives me the best possible "cure". Dr. Kandel is very good but she is not so good that booking an appointment with her is worth dealing with her completely incompetent staff. I've been visiting this office for a year for both general and cosmetic dermatology. I have had several appointments canceled, sometimes after I am already at the office, because they didn't book enough time when they scheduled me or because they forgot to order the correct supplies. Dr. Kandel is horrible. I have never been to a doctor who is as rude and mean. I I would never recommend her. My friend went to her also and feels the same way. My friend will never go back to Dr. Kandel either.

I've seen Dr. Kandel for ten years or more, everything from silly little things I worry about to skin cancers that had be taken off and monitored. I see her every six months for a scan, just to be safe. She always takes the time to answer my questions, including the dumb ones. She has a great attitude. I've never had any problem with the front office people and scheduling though she does have a lot of patients.

She's a bit rude, I understand that she gives you options for what to do. But if you do not want to do any of those options she becomes rude, and very sassy as well. Makes you feel like you do not know what you are talking about even though you are talking about your own skin. If you have acne I would not recommend you going to her, she would look at my skin for 5 min and leave.

I was sent to this doctor by my insurance company, but I gave up on tryin to get an appointment. It seems they have no one in their office answering the phones. Prepare to call at least 10 times before someone answers the phone and immediately places you on hold. After you get tired of holding and hand up, prepare to call 10 more times.
