Our Family has been serving freshly made Mexican Food since 1968. We offer traditional dishes to Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Options. We use only quality ingredients and cook our food in Canola, Olive or Coconut Oils. Lard is only used for our Pork & Beef Tamales. Our Menu offers a variety of options. Enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos, Chicken Mole, Caldo de Pollo, Menudo, Cactus, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo, Fajitas and many more. Including American & Mexican Breakfast on Saturday Mornings.

We went for first time for my daughters birthday. It was so good to have organic food. Thank you so much!!! Very friendly waitress. I think her name was Hope.
One of the best Mexican restaurants. The wait was less than we were told. Everything is prepared fresh so did not mind. Found it on Find Me GF & it had many options from which to choose.
Best restaurant in the city! Even the ketchup is made from scratch. We love El Tipico.
I dined there last week with my fiance. I want to come here because I am attracted to the natural, organic and gluten free options. The service is always slow, unresponsive and the food takes forever. Didn't refill our drinks. Didn't check on us and my order was wrong. I've come here quite often and am always leaving disappointed. One time we ate breakfast here we got our meal free due to it taking over an hour to get our food. I so wish they cared more for their customers.
Went for the first time today and was so impressed! Had a great conversation with the owner and had fabulous food and service. All organic produce and still reasonable prices! They made it so easy for me to navigate their menu even with an allergy and didn't feel like an inconvenience at all (which is a blessing in any restaurant). Can't wait to go back soon!
I drive a good 35 mins to eat the BEST Mexican food in Toledo! Another thing I love about El Tipico is that all their food is organic.
