Our Family has been serving freshly made Mexican Food since 1968. We offer traditional dishes to Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Options. We use only quality ingredients and cook our food in Canola, Olive or Coconut Oils. Lard is only used for our Pork & Beef Tamales. Our Menu offers a variety of options. Enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos, Chicken Mole, Caldo de Pollo, Menudo, Cactus, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo, Fajitas and many more. Including American & Mexican Breakfast on Saturday Mornings.

Took 20 minutes before the rude waitress took our order, then had to leave before our food came because our lunch HOUR was almost up. We eat there at least 3 times a week, and always enjoy the food, but this waitress ruins it. #badforbusiness
This restaurant is awesome in that they have organic vegetarian selections that are filling and naturally delicious the staff is friendly especially the owner as she makes it a point to visit each table to ensure satisfaction and ask about your meal. Delicious and satisfied every time. A+ to this quaint and cozy historical hot spot!

Excellent fresh, organic, authentic Mexican food. This is the best kept secret in Toledo! Family owned and operated for 48 years. Ask the owner, Dena to tell you how this restaurant came to be. She is so kind and her story will not disappoint!
So delicious and authentic! Friendly and inviting. Great quality food at very reasonable prices! We are never disappointed!
The only thing I would recommend there is the barbacoa tacos other than that go someplace else. The salsa was runny and just taste like pureed tomatoes with no real flavor and the guacamole was overpowered by onions plus my girl was unsatisfied with her entree as well. Very bad first visit and impression and will find elsewhere to enjoy "authentic" Mexican cusine which this was NOT! Also OVERPRICED for what you get. We will stay with EL SALTO because we've never had a bad experience dining with them, they are AMAZING!!!
