Ordered fajitas off of the lunch menu, normal price was 9.50. Asked if they had shrimp fajitas, sure we do! Charged me double for shrimp...no telling me until ticket received. $18.00 for not so great fajitas. Won’t be back. Rip off.
El Ranchito is my favorite place for Mexican food in Galesburg but, the past few times I've gone, it seems like they've changed the salsa & chips. I'm not sure if it's a cost cutting measure or if it's to save time (freshly made salsa & homemade chips are certainly more time intensive), maybe the recipes have just been tweaked, but both used to be much better.
Very much enjoyed the food and service. Looking forward to the next time.
Terrible service. My waitress couldnt even answer simple question about a menu item. Food sucked. Tasted like a frozen meal.
Always loved el ranch but tonight’s service was so good! Got food super fast and it tasted great. Had a fun time celebrating my brothers birthday. 5 stars!!
We absolutely love El Rancherito and go at least once a week with our one and three year old. The staff knows our kids' orders and immediately gets it cooking once they see us sit down- so the kids' food comes out first. They are also incredibly patient with our bouncing off the walls children, and always make us feel at home. We feel like family here, cannot recommend it enough.
Go here weekly always good food reasonable priced service is good!
