I am having mixed emotions. I was brought several times growing up. I have recently visit where the wait staff just wasn't at the 5*level. I originally experience visits with waitresses were having attitude. There are a few employees who go above and beyond to welcome their guests and trying to make the experience great. The food has been greasy. I am only being so harsh so they will improve and go back to the level I know they give.
1st time ever going there and the food was great . The service was good. I'll be coming back.

Even thought the ownership has changed, the food is still the best in Wichita. Been eating at the El Mexico Cafe for years .... love love the place very happy
Food had a funky taste but service was good. I'm sure it was just a off day for the cook.may or may not go back last few times I haven't been happy with the food.

It is the worst Mexican food I ever ate! Where I come from..we make salsa with fresh tomatoes,cilantro,onions,seasoning..and serve it in a nice dish! This salsa was in a plastic squeeze container!It was nasty! I ordered chicken enchiladas..the meat tasted like it came out of a can!( very dr)y); The waitress had a bit of an attitude! Should have talked to manager! We actually had to pay? Now..we know good food!..And this was not among it!!... . Susie Hill...
