I know that El Mexico is under new ownership since The Villars. I have been coming since I was a baby. My family and I ate there tonight and the service was fantastic but the food just isn't like it use to be. My daughter had the Chicken Taco Salad and apparently a side of bone comes with. Also she asked to have it with no jalepenos and guacamole is was covered in it. They did remove that meal from our ticket which was appreciated but the kander wasn't quite as sweet. Mexican- American- Approved!
Apparently children are allowed all over the restaurant, a server's son was in the kitchen, not safe, sitting on counters, all around the to-go area. Servers are on their phones directly in front of their customers and tables, and roam around with blank looks on their faces with food in their hands and mouths, chewing at my table whatever they just shoved in their mouths. Horrible, not up to standard, especially with the child, health code violation I'm sure.
