Chips were stale and chewy. Food was cold. No one seemed to care...cashier said yes I noticed that the beans were cold. Won't be back.
El Mexico can't seem to stay consistent with quality & taste. The original owner did an excellent job for many years but as he got older so did his food. The bathroom smelled like wet dog for a very very long time and the quality didn't taste much better than the odor. Great food, wonderful service and a comfortable atmosphere.
El Mexico is my favorite place to see and I love the food and the staff and the place is all ways clean and I'm always coming back to this place and I'm planning my 21 birthday there
Ive eaten there since it opened and it was great overthe years its changed not necessarily for the better my fovorite was the large special Monterey not so much anymore its ok but the closer to closing time things seem not as good or plentiful as if you go earlier
I and my sister, just came to El Mexico Cafe, because I wanted one of their "All Meat Burrito" to take home for supper. Needless to say, while we waited and looking at the menu, the manager had asked if we were ready to order. I turned to him and said that we decided to stay for dinner, he directed us to our dining table and even told us our server's name.
