About this business
In 1965 this restaurant started as A & W serving their famous root beer barrels and hot dogs as a drive in. Later on Mr. Robert Perez bought it and changed the name to "El Sombrero Drive Inn" changing the restaurant to Mexican food. In 1986 the Bohon family bought the restaurant, changing the menu and added seafood to their Mexican food menu. I do not recommend this restaurant the food is bland has no flavor beans were runny chicken fajitas were mostly bell pepper. The few pieces of chicken I did get were like rubber very chewy. Salsa tasted like tomatoes nothing more. Chips were old. Save your money. Guacamole was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten in my life. Not sure why this place is getting great reviews. Either these people are lying or they have never had good Mexican food. Save your money go to Taco Bell it will be better quality.

I had the Tito Burrito, carne Asada, potatoes, and sour cream. It was very good.
Great staff and great food. Large helpings and reasonably priced.
