Service is always great. food is beyond amazing, we love everything we have ever had from there.
Mexican "concept" but not Mexican food in the slightest.

Our first time eating here and I must say, the food and atmosphere were great! The staff are wonderful and very kind. We will definitely be back!
They have wonderful staff and their food is delicious too. My niece has been going here since she was a toddler. She loves the staff and food.
Short wait, well worth it. As you wait, let them know you want a beverage, small bar. Went off menu with shrimp fajita nachos, best I've ever had!! Thanks David and Tiff and the whole crew. Truely a Taylor's landmark.
My earliest memories are listening to (lucho?) the mariachi sing me happy birthday and my dad telling me " if someone calls you by name when you walk in the door it shows they care about their customers." The best food and family in town no questions. Here's to another 30+ years of memories. Highly recommend you try it. It's worth the drive and wait!!
We LOVE the El Matador! However tonight left a lot to be desired. We got there at 5:06 and it was not too busy yet. We waited an hour for our food and when we got it, it was cold and one dinner was not what we ordered. Very disappointed tonight, and it will probably be a while before we return. Had this been our first trip to the El Matador we would never return.
Love this place! David and his staff take great care of you each and every time we go! Pollo Fundido is my favorite!
