I had a great experience with Eastern Dental. I was so glad to find a place in GR to take my children to. My kids generally don't like to go to the dentist, who does? But the staff was very friendly and made my kids feel comfortable. I Will definitely be going here from now on!
If you have Medicaid for your children, this is the place to take your kids!!!! The service and staff there is EXCELLENT! My children had their first appointments there yesterday and we had a great experience. They received xrays, cleanings and fillings all in the same day. The kids were a bit nervous at first (ages 4 and 7), but once they were back in the dental chairs and had everything explained to them, they told me it was really easy. I will definetly recommend Eastern Dental to anyone who has Medicaid.
I cant believe I finaly found a place to take my kids that takes the medicaid and treats my kids with respect! I cant go back with them with the doctor but I think they do better then when I use to go back with them. Safe decent place to take my kids n they do a good job. Will be telling my friends about Eastern Dental!
They may not be the classiest place in town, but considering they treat children on medicaid, they do a wonderful job. For people who think it's horrible that they wouldn't let you go back... well i read what others wrote i'm sure someone is just looking to find a way to make money they should be ashamed of there self . I love eastern dental i understand why they dont want are children back there i know there not hurting my kids either.and they do tell you everything they told us and i was there before with my 4 kids and all of them loved how nice they are. some people had crying kids before they even walked back there. and most of there kids didnt have respect for others i blame the parents maybe if there kid wa... read more
I had a very good experience with Eastern Dental. I had no problem with my child going in without me. The staff was very nice and called me back to explain the treatment plan after my daughters cleaning and asked if I wanted treatment that day. My daughter is 7 and of course she was a little scared as most kids are of dentists or doctors and you have to come to expect that. I was very grateful to find a dental office that accepts medicaid and I will definitely go back again.
I actually had a great experience with all of my kids at Eastern Dental. The staff was very friendly with my kids and especially Dr. Boone. Yes, the waiting room was busy, but it was clean, and presentable. Yes, we did have to wait a little past our appointment time, but for Medicaid dentistry, this is the best treatment we've ever had! I have recommended Eastern Dental to a few friends of mine already.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! Sad thing is people with Medicaid barely have a choice :( And that is why they feel they can treat their patients like they do--they know people have to come back no matter what kind of service they get. Do not take your kids here. The first time i took my 5 yr old girl who never had cavities i was told she needed 3 filled although it seemed fishy to me the dentist i brought her to before seeing Eatern Dental never had a cavity. I had to switch dentists because they take medicaid. All the kids while waiting came out crying and i was not aloud to go back.
