The pictures of this store suggest that it is a place where "kid friendly" pet interactions are encouraged. However, our visit to the store was neither kid focused nor friendly. We were told that all the animals were "locked up" on Sundays and they don't take animals out just to be held. If you want a "kid friendly" pet store, try Pet Supermarket in Matthews.

Got a bad taste in my mouth because I was told by an employee that their puppies they had for sale are not for kids, even if my daughter is a teen, I was also told that their puppies are for seniors. Funny, after just blowing $200on fish 5 minutes before realizing they had puppies, I somehow was now given a lecture about puppies and how they are not suitable for kids. I love this place i got my beauty from here�� back in 2006
I got my best friend Bentley at the Last Place in Earth. He is a Maltese-Yorkie mix and he is the cutest puppy ever. The staff was excellent during the many visits I made to see the puppy before committing to take him home. The staff was especially helpful in taking the time to make sure that I had everything I needed to care for my new buddy.
