This place!! This place! We were in Charleston for three days and our hotel was on Savannah Highway. We got in late so we stopped there to eat, having never heard of it before. We ate at several restaurants, including those considered high end, but kept coming back to The Early Bird! The grits! Lord, help me! We ordered a quart to go to take back to Atlanta. My favorite lunch or late night place! I've never had anything there that was less than outstanding! Fresh, real, food. Skip the banana pudding though- so there's more for me! Hehehe.
The food is amazing!!! Best grits you will ever put in your mouth!! Worth the wait!

I love ❤️ this place. Yes at times there's a wait BUT as the old saying goes "Good things are worth the wait" and I personally love the Country Scramble. I return weekly for my fix. Keep it up guys. You're great 👍!!!
