A family of 5 ate there tonight...the iced t and fried pickles were good...one got chicken and waffles...pretty good....one got a burger and fries...seemed good with local tomatoes....one got biscuits n gravy with sausage and home fries....home fries were old and nasty hard and darkened....I got the egg scramble that had sausage, homefries, cheese, and again the home fries were nasty Pre cooked, old and nasty. I had a burger with pepper jack, bacon and avocado. Excellent!
The Chicken and waffles were very good! I especially liked the chicken because the breast was rather juicy. I would have given this place a 5 but my waffles were not hot. I guess they make up so many and keep them in a warmer!! Pleasantly surprised!
I had a great dinner at the Early Bird Diner tonight. Everything was totally on point, so tasty! My 11 year old daughter talked all the way home about how you can always tell when people cook from scratch with some know how. Good stuff! Thank you!
Very popular so be prepared to wait! Hostess and staff very friendly. A-typical food choices, tasty with a local twist.
We lOVED it! Awesome service and amazing food!! My daughter is a " Grits" expert and she said it was the best shes ever had in her whole LIFE ( shes 9 but still) ... it was an awesome experience for sure !!!!
