Used to be good, but now they lie and don't fix things and still charge you while saying that they will fix it if you buy a bunch of new parts from them, so you go somewhere else and they fix it. Or your radiator is broken, you tell them that, and they replace your battery saying that your radiator is fine, so you then have to get your radiator replaced the next day somewhere else.

3 years ago i would of given them 5 star for affordable price and high quaility work, this time they asked me for 1100 dollars for a radiator and a mirror, then when i couldn't afford it, they sprang a 20 dollar hidden fee on me with my diagnostics, i got 3 different diagnostic quotes after questioning them, finally getting the right person in there to charge me correctly after i was told 108 dollars for the test, so i asked them to only diagnose the radiator, and they tried to charge me over there rate of a full diagnostics... read more
My car was serviced and repaired after a control arm pooped out and broke the car down in Anchorage. I live in Eagle River, and once I was able to tow it down there, the mechanics and Taddie(sp) who is the person at the front desk, allowed me to keep my car at their shops property until I could arrange payment for services. She also took an extra $30.00 off and was compassionate about my situation given that I was 9 months pregnant and dealing with a broke down vehicle. Years past when I was a commuter I had truck issues and these guys were amazing! Got me back on the road in a timely manner and affordable! I would highly reccomend them for your automotive needs!
I had a great experience at Eagle River Automotive. After a bad experience at another shop in Anchorage where that shop did not even balance my brand new wheels properly. Eagle River Auto cleaned up their mess and now my brand new truck doesn't shimmy and shake driving down the road. Thank you all so much! We'll no longer mess with the other shops around town.
