Great homes Great place to call home! Wonderful staff and fast maintenance. They are always adding something new like gym equipment or the car care center. We love it!

Worse experience My apartment flood on Feb. 4 due to a busted pipe. The situation was handled horribly by Brookside Apartments. Alexis and Jaime refused to call a plumber or handled the situation at all. Due to maintenance bagging all my wet items up and tying the bags, then removing the dehumidifiers and fans (multiple times when they were repeatedly told not to do so) all items were lost. Great Experience Clean, quiet, safe. Very convenient for hopping on 64 to get to Lex or Louisville. Maintenance has been very quick to respond to any work orders and office staff have been helpful. Would prefer not to have valet trash service and wish my townhome had ceiling fans, but overall it has been great living here the last year.

When we first moved in, our unit was filthy. We spent two days cleaning before we could even start unpacking. The complex is disgusting. There is trash and/or dog poop everywhere. It appears that the charge for cleaning is very small because as you said, the unit was well cleaned besides one area of the home which we provided photos of. To address the carpet, underside photos of the carpet are used when there is an odor that needs identifying. IRT has very poor management team I moved in on January 30th 2024, having booked my move-in date two months prior. Upon arrival, I discovered that my unit was not ready. I filed six work orders on the first day for issues including cigarette butts on the balcony, a clogged bathtub, missing blinds, broken light bulbs, among others. The most severe problem is the lingering odor from the carpet, which management admitted was due to the previous residents' pets urinating on it. Quiet and Safe Been here since June 2023 and it has been great for the price. My only complaint is the amount of geese and ducks defecating all over the property, otherwise no complaints. If there is an issue within my unit the maintenance is on top of it! Also if something does not belong here it is towed away. Also the speedway police patrol and keep watch at the entrance of the property which is nice and a plus! I will resign my lease soon!

LIVE HERE Let me start with the staff, the manager is the best. I was here before and did not want to even tour after hearing my friends horror stories but now I do not worry about a thing. The communication is great and prompt. They actually get the apartments fully ready and looking new before someone new moves in and it is great all around, highly reccomend!
