It was a little difficult to communicate with Dr. Mangubat sometimes. He was distracted at the first meeting and I cannot exactly figure out how to word what made it hard after that but it did not always feel like I was being listened to. I did not understand all of what he said and I am not sure he understood all of what I said but we just kind of kept saying the same things back and forth. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They have been very inclusive and concerned for my well-being after and during my surgery.
It has been such wonderful results with my procedure I plan on returning to do other work everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful I really like them.
Dr. Mangubat has been so attentive in this entire process. Highly recommend to all family and friends.
Dr Mangubat was super comfortable with me and my transition questions etc. The Fellowship Dr. Wold seemed like she had a lot more experience with plastic surgery alone. Staff was friendly, remembered my pronoun 'they'(even after 9 months since my initial consult) and made me feel super comfortable. One time at my 1st checkup after surgery I was waiting a while and started to get cold but when I said something to the staff (as Dr. Mangubat seemed very swamped - I can tell why, his work is amazing!) Very happy and comfortable with my surgeon. If I decide to have more procedures done, I will definitely return.
some comments about my weight were made by the doctor that made me uncomfortable. but the doctor and his clinical staff are very trans affirming and made me feel secure in my decision every step of the way.
Everybody has been amazingly friendly and positive. I actually look forward to going to the doctor's office when it is La Belle Vie. Dr Mangubat is great to work with and made me comfortable talking about some fairly private things. I would definitely recommend Dr Mangubat and La Belle Vie. If I were to need further procedures, I would not think twice before coming back here.
I very pleased with Dr Mangubat and his staff. they were friendly and professional. I would recommend him with no reservations.
