Dyer's Burgers

4.1

About this business

Dyer's Burgers may not be the most glamorous place to dine in Memphis, but it's survived since it's opening in 1912 because the burgers are out of this world. The burgers come in singles, doubles, and a stack of three patties and three slices of cheese. The secret to making such mouthwatering burgers? They've been using the same grease for the entirety of the restaurant's 100 year history. Add some fries or onion rings and a drink to your order, and you're in for a satisfying lunch.

We are on a long road trip and my dad ran across them on YouTube and we decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. Yes they were greasy, but omg so worth it. They were so good I dreamt about it that night lol. I did special order mine without mustard and onion and added mayo. There was a new guy working and messed up and Judy brought it original... no mayo with pickle mustard and onions. I’m so glad he “messed” up. It was perfect just they way they serve it. Wish they were closer.

Had to try it at least once. Very fresh bun and small patty. Fried PB&J was off the chain.

Food was good but the service was pitiful. It took us 30 minutes to even get our drink order taken. Our order came out wrong, but it was obvious that they were short staffed.

Burgers were ok, service was extremely slow over an hour wait and fries were cold and their was 5 of us and all orders were wrong and took 15 mins to get drinks and begged for refills, sit for ten minutes before we got acknowledged and at one point no table in the place had food and it looked like they were cooking back their, and I own my own place and cook and can say they need a manager, looks like they are just left to figure it out and not friendly at all,a smile goes a long way and plz tell your cooks t pull their pants... read more

Service is unbelievably slow! Close to an hour wait for a burger and fries. Burger was good, but fries were cold. Drinks come out in little plastic cups. Steak N Shake would be 5+ stars compared to this place. NOT recommended!

Bad service. Took forever just to get a menu not mentioned to get the food, have to wait nearly 1 hour and they still missed my husband order. Not coming back for sure.
