Dyer's Burgers

4.1

About this business

Dyer's Burgers may not be the most glamorous place to dine in Memphis, but it's survived since it's opening in 1912 because the burgers are out of this world. The burgers come in singles, doubles, and a stack of three patties and three slices of cheese. The secret to making such mouthwatering burgers? They've been using the same grease for the entirety of the restaurant's 100 year history. Add some fries or onion rings and a drink to your order, and you're in for a satisfying lunch.

Weak service, weak food, and overpriced for what you get. I ordered a cheeseburger with everything. What I got was a small burger with a slice of American, 2 pickle slices, a smear of yellow mustard and a few bits of onion. The supposed hand-cut fries were flimsy, not crispy, and not hot. Waitress spent more time on break than anything else. Place was almost empty...more employees (very loud employees) than customers. Wouldn't return and wish I had gone to BB King's up the street instead.

Been waiting to visit for years. Service was a little on the slow side. The fries seemed like store bought frozen. On a positive note.... Staff was very friendly. Wide ordered the Chicken Tenders. She said they were amazing! I thought they were really good too. Of course, I ordered a burger. Dyers double cheese.....was very good. Expected the burger to kinda greasy, but it wasn't. Was very good. I would go back.

Burgers and fries were good. Business was understaffed. The two waitstaff employees were working their tails off, but simply could not keep up. Overall service was poor. The building itself was dirty. We won't go back.
