I have a single room in a shared apartment, really like the building and the staff in both security and the management office are really nice. They're always prompt at telling me when I have a package in the building and help with any questions I have. Live on the 14th floor so the view is really really great! Would love a dishwasher but doing dishes with a sponge and soap isn't so bad. I recommend people to live here if they get the chance :) P.s Tiara is awesome and very helpful!
The mailroom is ALWAYS closed, never open when they say they will be open, there’s not enough lighting in the units, the elevators are always broken, the outlets are always going out, we can’t control the heating and cooling in our own apartments, the security desk never know anything when to ask them questions, I wished I stayed at the UC.
For the price you're paying you'd think construction workers could clean up and not play heavy metal in the halls at 9am. The paid washing machines don't clean my clothes, and sometimes only scorching hot water comes out of the sink.
Live at Dwight lofts, and enjoy waking up to construction across the hall, rooms with no light, card operated laundry machines that destroy your clothes, and so much more! If you have a summer internship and need a place to stay, look somewhere else.

I love this building and it's a great housing choice at Columbia but the wifi is awful and you need to have a really good router in order to at least get a connection. Also, please fix the AC! We have ZERO control over the AC and I really don't want to have to rely on my fan (which has been running practically all year) to stay cool, especially at night. Last thing, there's no fans or proper ventilation in the bathrooms, so when you get out of the shower it's practically a sauna. It also causes a lot of mold in the shower so... read more
