Last year our beloved cat passed on. When we were ready for a new cat we loaded up the car & drove the 3 hours from our house to The Denver Dumb Friends League. The staff was very helpful, friendly & honest. A few of the cats that I had seen on the website & was interested in had problems using the litter box. The staff member very sweetly typed our needs into the computer & up came "Maxey" (renamed Marshall the Marshmallow). 8 years old, missing half his teeth & an annoyingly accurate internal alarm clock. I took my 3 kittens here to get shots and fixed they are so loving and sweet to the Animals and give since great care. They r den told me about issues I didn't know my kittens had. (Only having the kittens 2 days). Got them all fixed deformed and mite free now working on getting the weight problem resolved

We were having a hard time finding a cat. Each one we wanted to meet had been adopted minutes before we'd arrive. The girls at the Quebec office were so kind and understanding. Then we found Snips (formerly known as Sasha) and she is absolutely PUUURFECT for our family. She loves our 2 boys and they love her.

This is a wonderful organization and one that I am proud to have supported over many years. I have adopted a couple of adult cats from the Quebec location and they were always a successful experience. I prefer to adopt adult cats because their personalities are formed and I can tell how they will react to me and whether it will be a good match. This has always worked well for me.

They are amazing, the staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They keep their facility clean and though they are a shelter it doesn't feel like one. I adopted a kitty who was blind in one eye from the buddy center in Castle Rock and a 3 year old dog from Denver. They are an excellent organization that is always in need of assistance be it a donation or adoption they are worth the help!!

We got our girl Anya 4 years ago and she's fantastic. We adopted her knowing she had horrible allergy issues. She was brought to the shelter on Thursday....We were notified she might be a good match. We met her on Saturday and took her home the following Monday. The staff who emailed me back and forth to help me find the right dog for my family was wonderful. We love our baby girl and couldnt say more! ������

I cannot express enough appreciation for bringing our sweet cat Lily into our lives. It's been a few months, but I wanted to write a review because everyone was just so kind and helpful. The shelter was clean, brightly lit, well organized. When we adopted Lily, I think she had recently given birth and she was a little skinny, and I'm happy to say she's healthy and thriving now. Can't imagine life without her. Always adopt shelter pets!
