I went to the Buddy Center today with my son who had a massive stroke 2 years ago. He has been wanting a pet so badly and is just now in a position to have one. The volunteer listened to what he wanted, assessed the situation and reccomend the perfect cat for him. This cat sat on his lap on the way home and moved right in. It's a blessing to see them both so happy. Thank you Buddy Center! I appreciate everything you did today so very much!
I went into DFL a handful of times over the last couple of months looking for a dog to call my own. I didn't have much of an idea of what kind of dog I was looking for, I just needed to find someone I connected with. The staff and volunteers were super helpful to me, answering my numerous questions in a kind manner (except for one rude employee, maybe he was having a bad day). We have adopted 2 pets from DDFL. A chinchilla and a cat. With our chinchilla they helped us find him a temporary cage while the one we ordered for him came. With my cat he was adopted at 11 weeks and the poor thing was scared of everything, due to the stress he got sick and DDFL not only saw him twice but got him to eat. Now hes a little furry beast running the house. I love my pets, I love that they offer us a veteran's discount, and I am thankful for how good DDFL was to us.

I adopted Merle back in February and I never got to thank the staff at Denver Dumb Friends League. Even though there were a decent amount of people there, they were still able to help me in getting to know him. They made the adoption process super easy and I'm happy to say things are going well with Merle in our family. Thank you guys!
We got out new furry friend from this wonderful place and she's a perfect fit for our family!
