We had an awesome experience here! All the employees and volunteers are so friendly and helpful. We got our puppy after he had already received his vaccinations and was microchipped and neutered. They also sent us with dog food, toys, and great resources.

I would love to valenteer there because u can show all ur love to the animals and take care of them even u can walk and brush them and play with them and give them a bath so they can smell good before they get adopted I seen how clean the shelter is and they have a hospital where they spay and neuter the animals before they go to a lovingly home with family I would give them if I could 1000 percent greatest shelter ever and they even will allow anyone to valenteer there and take care of animals that need that one on one atte... read more

My boyfriend and I rescued our dog from Dumb Friends League in October and couldn't be happier! After working with a few other shelters and having horrible experiences we were relieved to find Dumb Friends League! Ben(the person we worked with), was a match maker! We couldn't be more happy with our chose to rescue our dog. :)

I absolutely love what Garrett has and is doing up at Harmony. They are helping literally 100s of horses to find homes through an incredible training program. The horses are taken excellent care of and the facility is gorgeous!

We adopted the sweetest doggie today. The 2 volunteer ladies who helped us with the visit were super helpful and nice but everyone else seemed irritated like they couldn't be bothered to help us. One staff member repeatedly scolded my children about how they must not pick up the dog, must do this, must do that. She spoke down to me in a condescending way regarding the same issue, although I assured her multiple times I understood the importance of setting healthy boundaries with the kids and the dog. We went just to look and fell in love with our new baby. Staff was very friendly and gave us as much time as we wanted with him before we decided. The only concern we had was with another dog we wanted to see. The problem being, I told the front desk I already had one that was the same bread. The lady said I won't even let you see her because they won't get a long. Kinda made me sad.
