We adopted Miss Kitty on Sunday & her pink eye didn't seem to be getting better. I took her back on Friday for the vet to check her & it turned out she got an ulcer in her eye. They gave me new meds & eye drops to give her for 7 days. The vet showed me the best way to give the meds & eye drops. They already made an appointment for me to bring her back on Monday to see how her eye is after 3 days. If her eye doesn't heal & gets worse they will end up having to remove her eye. They're very nice and helpful.
They are taking in stray cats from my condo complex when other facilities turned my neighbor who is trapping them away. A no kill shelter is the only place i will adopt from. The only problem i had was watching animals being surrendered, it was sad but i can only hope they get adopted, the staff was very nice

Brought 18 month old daughter in to get accustomed to animals more and there were only about 6 dogs. What's going on? Remodeling, yes!? But should we be excited to say all the dogs have been adopted? The cat area was outstanding!!!

We were visiting the area from Delaware and visited the Castle Rock shelter. It's beautiful, and the staff was friendly. We fell in love with so many of the sweet pets there. Keep up great work you do.
I've adopted two animals from DFL and had a wonderful experience each time. Wouldn't hesitate to adopt again!
I'm so impressed with the level of care they give the animals they take in. I recently found a stray cat and brought her to Dumb Friends League. I asked if I could check in on her and every time I called they were so sweet about giving me updates on her condition. They let me know that she needed 13 teeth pulled and I was amazed at the investment they made in her. Most places can't afford to give that type of treatment to animals in need. Absolutely love these guys!! So thankful they're here!
