Our kitten, Toby was SUCH an incredible addition to our little family! His description online was spot-on, and everyone we worked with there was just wonderful. Toby became sick during the first couple of days in our home (due to a combination of the stress of moving and being in a shelter). The vets at DFL took SUCH great care of him and gave us everything we needed for him to kick his sickness within days (by the way, at no cost). I will always recommend this facility for any adoption. They truly care about their animals a... read more
Three dogs and counting. The Dumb Friend’s League has given us years of joy.
I adopted my sweet puggle from the shelter in January, but I have participated in their Furry Scurry, Wag n Trail, donor and fundraiser events for several years. They are a leader in their community for not only adoption, but animal welfare. Their staff and volunteers truly care about the organization's mission and each animal that passes through their doors!
I knew I wanted a dog but which dog is not something to make lightly. I went through pictures and infos for about two weeks before I found one. I went in with my friend to find this dog was not suitable for an apartment as she only had 3 legs and I live on the second floor. So they decided that seems how I wanted a dog still they would do a search in the computer for me. They were helpful and informative making sure I knew what was best for the dogs. They searched the breed I mentioned I wanted and although the dog wasnt act... read more
We adopted Norman our tuxedo cat 6 years ago from The Dumb Friends League and he’s been an absolutely fabulous pet and member of the family. We adore him so much! Last summer we lost our faithful friend and elderly cat Gus Gus. We decided it was time to add another to our little family and found Madam Mim a few weeks ago online with DFL. She’s a crazy fun kitten, full of life and very well socialized - a little too social for Norman at first but he’s warming up. Even the Puggle Odin loves playing and running around the house... read more
I was able to get my kitten neutered through Dumb Friends League for free and it was a totally easy process. Later I adopted my new cat through them as well. All the staff were kind and helpful! The process was super easy.
All of our kitties are from DDFL and they won our hearts instantly!
Last year today on this date my sister in law and I came there to see Roxy a Saint Bernard.I instantly fell in love with her and today a year later she is doing very well. Thanks to Denver dumb friends league for this precious gift that we received.
Have adopted several pets from DDFL and this time used their mobile spay clinic. This is such a great community program and I love the work the DDFL does and will continue to get animals from them and support them.
