My entire house is falling apart! Cracks all over the walls, one is over 6 ft. long. My house is four years old and is in worse shape than most fifty year old homes. In parts I can see my subfloor. Walls peeling away/buckling, and nails starting to bust through the drywall.I bought a NEW house to make my Home so I wouldn't have to deal with a situation like this. At first site, DSLD homes are attractive and the price point is very reasonable. After that ... caveat emptor! BUYER BEWARE. First, you must use their mortgage company to finance the house. The mortgage company is part of DSLD. The closing process was so complicated and invasive beyond what is necessary for a typical closing, you start to question wether or not you want to purchase the home. The best company
I did contract in covington del sol subdivision completely disappointed slab was bad we told them told cosmetic, then vandalized and Sheetrock was horrible contractors left doors and windows open when raining Sheetrock got wet and ripped then we hired engineer and found slab was not good house won't last.. And still they refused to refund upgrade money we lost over 3000 but I figure better then buying house with bad foundation hope someone money is saved by this review
