DSLD is growing at a rapid pace and the customer service is getting worst. This is my second home purchase with DSLD and for the first home I never had a problem with getting assistance. They no longer answer the customer care line. You have to leave a message and sometimes they’ll return your call. If they do, it’s hours later. My A/C has gone out twice in my home that I purchased in September. The first time we had to wait 3 weeks to have it repaired. I am amazed at this company. They actually hide stuff in their contracts. The more I get to know them, the more I despise them. Save yourself some grief. Steer clear of DSLD. They do have a habit of hiring pathological liars though. So if you are good at fibbing, they probably have an opening for you.

OH MY GOD!! I have so much I can write here... This company has ZERO oversight of their workers. I don't even know where to begin. Breaking mailboxes, blocking the street, driveways. We have called the big dogs, no help at all. They really could care less that for over a year they have made the residents( another builder built the first houses on our street) a living hell!!! When we first got word they were building, everyone was up in arms, we need to stop them and I was like what s the big deal? Boy was I in for a shock!! ... read more

Company sucks because they are so incompetent in handling paperwork, the interest rates keep going up because they cannot manage to lock-in rates. They cannot get the fee sheets correct. Had to correct the info on these sheets. They do not know how to calculate or add figures.

When I first brought my home, I was happy with the finishing look. Now that I’ve been in my house for four months, I’ve ran into multiple problems. My garage door is very load, it sounds like it’s going to break soon. My door stoppers are falling from the back of the door. Two of my outside doorknobs has just fallen off when closing the door. They leave stinking dumpsters in front of finished homes for all the neighborhood to smell. They are not even working on the house it sits in front of. It has attracted so many flies that we can’t go outside without being swarmed. When we complained we were told they don’t “police the dumpsters”! I wish they had a stinking dumpster in their front yard! They might look at things differently. Sloppy workmanship, bricks around my windows put in incorrectly, do there is a gap that is about 2 inches that they tried to fill with mortar, and now only 5 years later it’s falling apart, and has abig hole where water is getting in when it rains. I had 2 contractors look at it and confirmed this was done incorrectly from the beginning and DSLD will not fix.
