First time donating plasma at Drumlin - November 29, 2025 The good: convenient location, clean facility, and prompt attention from staff. They also explained my protein and iron test results and gave helpful advice about keeping those levels high and staying well hydrated before donating. *UPDATE* I've already received my compensation. Today I made my first plasma donation with Drumlin. You can tell the moment you walk in, you're in a sterile safe place. I felt well cared for throughout the entire process. I will definitely donate again.
It’s a pretty good place, process is easy but slow, for first time donor it takes a while took me around 3 hour
They wasted my time and did not compensate for their own screw up. I signed up for a donation a few weeks ago, I read all the things to ensure I could donate, as my mother has MS, but there was nothing on their website stating I could not (since I do not have MS). The day of donation, I filled out a questionnaire which was all fine. I drive downtown, pay for parking, sit in the waiting room. Finally get called in. all of the staff are vey lovely and kind and the atmosphere is great so no complaint about that. however i went in, and i got a needle injected into my veins in BOTH arms, and the plasma donation was unsuccessful. on my right arm, i had a hematoma which was painful for the first few days. the worst part however, was that, after going through screening, a nurse exam, and taking 2-3 hours time out of my day, i only received $10 for the whole ordeal. i understand that they weren’t successful in the donation, but that is no faul... read more
