I came to Dr. Shulkin for double vision. I have had eye muscle surgery and are hoping for the best outcome. Dr. Shulkin is without a doubt that most caring physician that I have ever had. So much so that he gives his cellphone # to patients and is quick to callback. I trust his expertise completely and know that he will do whatever it takes to resolve the patient's problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shulkin to anyone who needs specialized eye care. He's and staff are the best!
Another eye surgeon sent me to Dr. Shulkin, due to his training & expertise in neuro-ocular surgery. He saw me promptly, explained the situation, what could be done, and what the results would be - all in an engaging and reassuring manner. He did the surgery, and everything played out exactly as he had predicted. I am very pleased with the outcome. He has a great surgical touch and bedside manner. He followed up personally to ensure a smooth recovery afterwards. Very patient-focused.
Dr. Shulkin has treated both my husband and me. We both were very pleased with the results of our ele surgery. He has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable at all visits. His staff is friendly and helpful. He always spends ample time with us at each visit. I have never had to wait for very long in the waiting room. I have told several people how pleased with the results of my surgery and will continue to recommend him to friends and family.

Wonderful Experience!!! I will always refer family and friends to Dr.Shulkin. Our eyes are delicate and important. After having orbital decompression 10 years ago, my eyes were always dry/red and different in size. Dr. Shulkin performed surgery on one eye only. I truly could not believe the results. The surgical team and office staff made me feel so at ease. It was an over the top experience. What a remarkable group of people.
I had a brain tumor removed and a couple of weeks later I was in a lot of pain and my vision doubled. Dr. Shulkin's office got me in quickly. Dr. Shulkin's was very observant and reacted quickly and it saved my life. He has been very kind and caring throughout this whole process of healing. He has continued to be patient and take the time to explain things to me and make sure that I understand. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Shulkin's. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
Dr. Shulkin is an amazing, caring, compassionate, opthalmologist who listens to his patients. Having suffered with blepharospasms since early childhood, it is awesome at 66 to have found Dr. Shulkin who has relieved the problem with botox injections! It is a fantastic relief to be free of this debilitating "curse." Thank you Dr. Shulkin!
I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Shulkin and my experience with my Strabismus diagnosis, consultation, and surgery. You owe it to yourself, your eyes, and your health to at least consult with the good doctor. If I ever have another need for any ophthalmology services, I will quickly return to his office. Dr. Shulkin recently removed a large chalazion from my eyelid. My interactions with the doctor and his staff were very positive. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The doctor took the time to explain his treatment suggestions thoroughly and made sure that I understood procedures and possible outcomes. So I was comfortable with my decisions going into the surgery. And I am delighted with the outcome. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff.
