Dr. Shulkin performed tear duct surgery on one eye this summer and both the surgery and recovery were a breeze! He is friendly and easy-going, efficient, and his office staff is great too. Office wait time was minimal. My eye specialist recommended him after I experienced inflammation of my tear duct.
Went for an eye exam for my son. Waited for a very long time, about an hour, while the exam itself was super brief and rushed. The bill was unusually high. We found a different pediatric ophthalmologist since then and have had a much better experience.
We started with Dr. Zev about 2-3 years ago. He is amazingly efficient. No long conversations to fill time, in-and-out and on our way. I love that. Between work, school, and extracurriculars we have little time for our ophthalmologist appointments. I don’t know what they called my daughter’s condition, but it was rather severe and worsening. I had an amazing experience with the Dr, I was very afraid I would have perminate damage. To my amazement I came out of surgery with perfection
I had been having distance double vision for about 6 years and it was affecting all aspects of my daily living. My surgery was about 2 weeks ago and there has been no signs of double vision. Dr. Shulkin is the best!
When you have high expectations from your doctor, you will not be disappointed with Zev Shulkin. I was referred to him without any background info and was so delighted to see a true physician leader. Took the time to explain my condition and provided a coherent prognosis. I left his office feeling educated and informed. He installed a sense of confidence and assurance. A quite refreshing experience.
Shulkin did a fantastic job on my droopy lids. The surgery was painless. Three days of slight discomfort after surgery. He has a great bedside manner and seems passionate about his work. Highly recommend!

OUTSTANDING. Dr. Shulkin corrected a long time problem with my vision caused by drooping eye lids. This surgery was one of the best decisions I've made regarding my health. Dr. Shulkin and his staff went way beyond my expectations. Not only is my vision improved all of my friends remark on how much younger I look (and that's NOT why I did the surgery).
